Uniformed Services Report

£25 Actuarial Report   Off-line order process:
The actuarial Uniformed Services Report costs only £50 (Excl VAT) per pension scheme valued, the same price paid by solicitors, IFAs and other professionals that use this service to value pensions on divorce. It is designed specifically for the police, fire & rescue, armed forces and prison service pension schemes where an appropriate valuation of 3 times the CETV value is not uncommon.
The report is produced manually and signed off by an actuary, is returned to you in only two working days and quickly and cost effectively calculates the value of a uniformed services pension. It includes a reconciliation to explain the major reasons for the differences. You can then discuss the findings of the report with your solicitor. See an example of the uniformed services valuation.

To order the actuarial £50 Uniformed Services Report, please complete the following enquiry form and our partner actuary Bradshaw Dixon Moore will email you the appropriate form for your particular uniformed service as a pdf* file you can print out and complete. Payment is only required once you have received the password protected pdf report file.

Report advantages:

It applies to any police, fire & rescue, armed forces and prison service pension schemes where an appropriate valuation may be 3 times greater than the CETV;
It costs only £50 (Excl VAT) per pension valued, the same price paid by family solicitors, IFAs and other professionals that use this service to value pensions on divorce;
The report is produced manually, signed off by an actuary and returned to you in only two working days;
It can be used by the scheme member or spouse to validate the accuracy of a CETV from a pension provider;
The end result is a report signed off by an accredited actuary and includes a reconciliation to explain the major reasons for the differences. You can then discuss the findings of the report with your solicitor;
Where the divorcing parties are amicable and desire a swift resolution, it can be used as a quick and cost effective method of valuing the pension assets;
The actuarial Uniformed Services Report can be used for cases heard in the Scottish courts;
The report can be used to determine if a comprehensive and expensive Bespoke Report including actuarial calculations for court purposes will be to your benefit.

The Express Pension Valuation system used to calculate values works on a limited amount of data and thus cannot give a definitive value for a defined benefit (final salary) scheme. It is intended as a tool to determine what further action should be taken and it is not intended to be relied upon in court. Due to differences in the legal system, it is not suitable for use in any cases outside the UK. Where an individual is receiving payments under a pension the £50 Uniformed Services Report must not be used, as a different valuation method is required.
